The initial duration is 6 months, with possible renewals up to the funding limit.

What's required
Applicants must hold a doctoral degree in Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Chemistry, Biology, or related fields. Proven experience is required in biochemical characterization of food products, especially microalgae, including lipid analysis, lipid extraction methodologies, and characterization using LC-MS and GC-MS. Additional experience in bioprospecting bioactive extracts and assessing biological activity using cell-based models will be valued. Eligibility also requires that the doctorate was obtained less than three years before application and compliance with the University of Aveiro research fellowship regulations.
