The project sits at the intersection of microplastics and nanoplastics, polymer and colloid science, environmental science, analytical chemistry, and materials science. Research topics include microplastics/nanoplastics in environmental systems, plastic additives and contaminant interactions, sustainable low-cost water treatment technologies, and advanced material design for environmental applications.

The ideal candidate has expertise in one or more of microplastics/nanoplastics, environmental or water science, or polymer/colloid science. Experience in polymer characterization, analytical chemistry, and colloid characterization techniques is preferred.
