About this position

The Intelligent Monitoring & Infrastructure Systems Laboratory (IMIS-Lab) at the Universidad de Granada is inviting excellent candidates to apply for a three-year, full-time postdoctoral fellowship focused on advanced infrastructure monitoring and data-driven engineering.
Research areas include structural health monitoring, digital twins and physics-informed modelling, AI and machine learning for infrastructure, UAV/robotics/computer-vision-based inspection, smart and self-sensing construction materials, and monitoring of civil, coastal, and heritage infrastructure.
Funding includes up to €320,100 in total support, a minimum gross salary of €47,000 per year, and up to €38,500 per year for research activities, plus international training and mobility opportunities.
Eligibility highlights: PhD defended 2–7 years before the closing date; at least 12 months of residence or main activity in Spain between 24 September 2023 and 23 September 2026; and at least 6 months of research experience outside Spain.
