You will contribute to developing, implementing, and validating advanced AI methods for healthcare, foundation models, and multimodal analysis, while also supporting publications, technical deliverables, dissemination, and project coordination.
The lab is a dynamic international group with strong experience in EU-funded and international projects, and the position offers a competitive research environment, opportunities for collaboration, and support for career development. The gross salary is EUR 40,000 per year, and the appointment is a temporary full-time contract initially for 12 months, renewable up to 31/05/2030.
Eligibility highlights: PhD or equivalent in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or related fields; strong background in AI/ML, biomedical data science, medical imaging, and programming (Python/C++); excellent written and spoken English; ability to work independently and collaborate with interdisciplinary partners. Desirable experience includes probability/statistics, LLMs, explainable AI, federated learning, MLOps/DevOps, precision medicine, and EU-funded projects.
