Postdoctoral Position in Neuromorphic Hardware and Brain–Computer Interfaces University of Southern Denmark in Denmark

A postdoctoral position is available at the University of Southern Denmark (SDU) within SDU Microelectronics, focusing on neuromorphic hardware as part of the NeuroMate project. This collaborative project, involving Aalborg University and the Danish Technological Institute, aims to develop next-generation brain–computer interface (BCI) systems for neurorehabilitation. The successful candidate will work on FPGA/ASIC-based neuromorphic hardware to decode EEG signals into real-time assistive control, operating at the intersection of AI hardware, circuits, and neuroscience.

Applicants should have experience in ASIC and/or FPGA design, analog/mixed-signal IC design, and an interest in neuromorphic computing or edge AI. Experience with EEG or biomedical signals is a plus. The position is based at SDU in Denmark, and the application deadline is 20 April 2026.
