Applicants should have a relevant PhD or be near completion, or have equivalent experience, with strong expertise in number theory and arithmetic algebraic geometry, especially arithmetic fundamental groups. The role also calls for the ability to develop research objectives, contribute to funding bids, present at conferences, collaborate effectively, and supervise others when needed.
The post starts on 1 April 2027 and runs until 31 December 2029. The advertised closing date is 18 January 2027. Salary starts from £35,302 on Grade E, depending on knowledge, skills and experience.
