About this position
St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee, is seeking postdoctoral fellows for its NIH-sponsored Childhood Hematological Malignancies Training Program. The program addresses childhood blood cancers, which remain a major cause of cancer-related death despite substantial improvements in survival.
Postdoctoral researchers will investigate the genetic basis of childhood hematological malignancies and help translate genomic discoveries into experimental models and therapeutic advances. Training spans genomic analysis, experimental modeling, translational science, and preclinical modeling.
Fellows will work within the research environment of the St. Jude Comprehensive Cancer Center Hematological Malignancies Program, which connects basic science discoveries with clinical trials. The program provides interdisciplinary mentorship from scientific and clinical investigators, along with clinical shadowing and lectures covering topics from genomic analysis to clinical trial design.
This training environment is designed to prepare emerging scientists for independent research careers addressing unmet needs in pediatric hematological malignancy research.
