Postdoctoral Research Associate opportunity in polymerization and depolymerization catalysis at the University of Oxford, Department of Chemistry, working in the research group of Prof. Charlotte K. Williams.

The project focuses on next-generation catalysts for polymerization and depolymerization, chemical recycling of polyesters and polycarbonates, sustainable polymer synthesis using CO₂ and renewable feedstocks, and mechanistic/kinetic studies of catalytic processes. The role is strongly aligned with chemistry, polymer science, materials science, and catalytic research.

Eligibility highlights include a PhD in Chemistry (or near completion), a strong background in inorganic or organometallic chemistry, experience with air-sensitive synthesis, and familiarity with NMR, IR, mass spectrometry, and X-ray diffraction.
