About this position

Northeastern University is seeking a Postdoctoral Research Associate to conduct theoretical and applied research in signal processing and modern communication systems at the Boston Main Campus.

The project focuses on fundamental theories of signal processing and their use in next-generation communication infrastructures. The postdoctoral researcher will investigate sparse signal recovery, compressed sensing, statistical estimation, signal estimation and detection, and information-theoretic methods relevant to efficient transmission and robust communication.

The work will involve formulating rigorous analytical models, designing efficient algorithms, and developing methods to characterize system performance. By connecting mathematical theory with practical communication networks, the researcher will contribute to advances in communication technologies and produce scholarly work for peer-reviewed journals and conferences.

The role offers an opportunity to work within Northeastern’s R1 research environment, a globally connected university system that emphasizes collaborative, solutions-oriented research across disciplines, sectors, and campuses.
