Postdoctoral Research Position in Network Security KTH Royal Institute of Technology in Sweden

The Networked Systems Security (NSS) group at the School of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science (EECS), KTH Royal Institute of Technology, invites applications for a postdoctoral research position in network security. This opportunity is ideal for highly motivated researchers with a strong background in networked systems security and privacy. The successful candidate will join a dynamic research group focused on designing and building trustworthy networked systems, addressing a wide range of security and privacy challenges.

As a postdoctoral researcher, you will lead your own research projects, participate in ongoing NSS initiatives, and gain valuable experience in student supervision and mentoring. Eligibility and Requirements: Applicants must hold a doctoral degree or an equivalent foreign degree, completed by the time of employment. Candidates should have significant documented research expertise in network or computer security and/or privacy enhancing technologies, demonstrated by top-tier publications. Proficiency in English, collaborative abilities, teamwork skills, motivation, and independence are essential. Preferred qualifications include a recent doctoral degree (within three years), teaching and supervision experience, prior research in AI/ML security or secure positioning, and awareness of diversity and gender equality issues.

Funding and Employment: The position is full-time, temporary, and offered for up to two years, with a monthly salary and comprehensive benefits. The role is intended as a first career step after completing a dissertation.
