About this position
This postdoctoral position is based at Karolinska Institutet and sits within a collaborative research environment focused on health, lifestyle, obesity, physical activity, and digital solutions. The successful candidate will join a dedicated team working on a major research project with both national and international collaboration, contributing to a study that explores how AI-based support can be used to promote healthy lifestyle habits.
The project involves coordinating and evaluating an intervention study starting in 2027. The research group at Karolinska Institutet is responsible for testing and evaluating digital support that was developed through international collaboration. The work is explicitly interdisciplinary, combining lifestyle research, digital methods, and applied intervention science, and the study will be conducted in Swedish.
The postdoctoral researcher will take a leading role in designing the intervention study based on prior co-creation work with stakeholders. The role also includes data collection, data management, and data analysis in collaboration with internal and external partners. In addition, the position involves scientific discussion, contributing to a collaborative research culture, supporting junior colleagues, preparing presentations and publications, and engaging with researchers and the local community both nationally and internationally.
The position is linked to Ylva Trolle Lagerros’s research group, offering a setting with wide-ranging expertise and strong links between medical research and healthcare. Karolinska Institutet presents itself as a leading medical university with a broad research and education environment, and this post is described as a two-year fixed-term appointment.
