About this position
Karolinska Institutet is advertising a postdoctoral researcher position in pharmacometrics within the research group led by Joel Tärning. The project is situated in a strong medical research environment at one of the world’s leading medical universities, with opportunities to work across research groups and disease areas at KI.
The postdoctoral researcher will develop and apply advanced pharmacometric methods to clinically relevant questions about medicines and treatment. The core research combines population PK/PD modelling, physiologically based pharmacokinetic (PBPK) modelling, and translational modelling and simulation.
The advertised work focuses particularly on neglected tropical diseases and other infectious diseases. The role includes planning and conducting analyses, interpreting findings, and communicating results through scientific publications and presentations. There are also opportunities to contribute to interdisciplinary collaborations, take part in supervision, support the development of research projects, and assist with grant applications alongside the group PI.
The position is based in Flemingsberg and is embedded in an international and interdisciplinary setting, with close interaction with other researchers at Karolinska Institutet.
