This postdoctoral researcher position is offered as part of the 3RE-VALID project, funded by the NextGenerationEU programme under Romania’s PNRR initiative. The research focuses on translational approaches to address advanced liver diseases, specifically targeting fibrosis regression, reversal of endothelial dysfunction, and hepatocyte regeneration. The project aims to advance understanding and therapeutic strategies for liver pathologies, contributing to both clinical and academic progress in medical sciences.

The position is based at the University of Medicine and Pharmacy Iuliu Hatieganu in Cluj-Napoca, Romania, within the Department of CDI. The contract is temporary, lasting 2 months, with a full-time workload (up to 168 hours/month). Funding is provided through the EU research framework, ensuring support for the researcher during the project period.

Applicants must hold a PhD in a relevant discipline, such as pharmacy, medical sciences, biotechnology, food engineering, agricultural product processing technology, or related engineering fields. Eligibility requires Romanian citizenship, citizenship of another EU member state, or the right to work in Romania. Proficiency in written and spoken Romanian is mandatory, and candidates must be in good health, meet all educational and experience requirements, and have no criminal convictions. Demonstrated research experience, including participation in at least one research project and authorship or co-authorship of at least four scientific articles published in international peer-reviewed journals, is required. Candidates should have 1–4 years of research experience.
