This postdoctoral researcher position is part of the EU-funded NextGenerationEU project 3RE-VALID, hosted at the University of Medicine and Pharmacy Iuliu Hatieganu in Cluj-Napoca, Romania. The project focuses on translational research targeting fibrosis regression, reversal of endothelial dysfunction, and hepatocyte regeneration in advanced liver diseases. The research aims to advance understanding and therapeutic strategies for liver disease, with a strong emphasis on clinical and molecular approaches.

The contract is temporary, lasting 2 months, with a full-time commitment (up to 168 hours/month). Funding is provided through the PNRR research framework, ensuring financial support for the position. The research environment is dynamic, with opportunities to collaborate on cutting-edge medical science topics relevant to liver pathology and regeneration.

Applicants must hold a PhD in pharmacy, medical sciences, biotechnology, food engineering, agricultural product processing technology, or related engineering fields. Eligibility requires Romanian citizenship, citizenship of an EU member state, or the right to work in Romania. Proficiency in written and spoken Romanian is mandatory. Candidates must be in good health, have not been convicted of any criminal offense, and be graduates of a long-term higher education program. Research experience is essential, demonstrated by participation in at least one research project and authorship or co-authorship of at least four scientific articles published in international peer-reviewed journals. 1–4 years of research experience is expected.
