About this position

A postdoctoral position in the Wang Lab at the University of California, Irvine focuses on the Hippo signaling pathway and its role in organ size control and cancer development. The project uses a combination of integrated proteomics and bioinformatics, biochemical studies, and genetic mouse models to investigate how the pathway is regulated and how it functions in normal physiology and cancer.

The lab also carries out large-scale proteomics research on cancer-related signaling pathways and protein families, with particular attention to their cross-talk with Hippo signaling. The successful candidate will join an active research environment in the Department of Developmental and Cell Biology at UC Irvine and contribute to work aimed at identifying biological mechanisms that could support new cancer treatment strategies.

This opening is suited to a researcher with strong interests in molecular and cellular mechanisms of signaling, protein regulation, and cancer biology.
