About this position
Oregon State University’s College of Agricultural Sciences, Department of Botany and Plant Pathology, is advertising a Postdoctoral Scholar position in Marine Phytoplankton Remote Sensing at the Phytoplankton Ecophysiology Col(Lab)oration in Corvallis, Oregon, United States.

Preferred skills include programming and data analysis in Python, R, Matlab/Octave, SeaDAS, Java, C/C++, PHP, HTML/XML/SQL, and methods such as PCA/EOF, GAM, random forest, machine learning, data reconstruction, and time-series analysis.
The appointment is 1.0 FTE for 12 months, with a competitive stipend and health insurance for the first year and the possibility of up to two additional years depending on performance. The preferred start date is December 1, 2026 (negotiable). Applications are due by September 30, 2026.
