About this position
The Ohio State University is seeking a Postdoctoral Scholar in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering. Based at Dreese Laboratories on the Columbus Campus, the scholar will conduct research in wireless networks, artificial intelligence, machine learning, and networking.
The role involves collaborating with graduate students, faculty members, industry partners, and Department of Defense partners across a variety of research initiatives. The scholar will help identify and develop new research directions, contribute to conference papers and journal articles, and participate in the supervision and mentoring of graduate and undergraduate students involved in the Institute’s research activities.
Beyond core research, the scholar will support the broader research environment by helping develop course modules and instructional materials, assisting with proposal preparation, and contributing to project management and sponsored-research reporting. The position also includes coordinating interdisciplinary team activities, supporting seminars, annual workshops, and project meetings, and maintaining organized research and educational repositories.
The scholar will communicate research findings through technical reports, scholarly publications, and presentations while participating in research-group and unit meetings. This is a full-time, fixed-term postdoctoral role within an interdisciplinary engineering research setting at a major public research university.
