About this position

Monash University is offering a Research Fellow position based in the Warren Centre for Civil Justice within the Faculty of Law at Clayton campus and the Monash University Law Chambers.

The successful candidate will join a team working on Redesigning Digital Justice, an ARC Discovery Project focused on improving the design methods and technologies used in online hearings. The project brings together law and human-computer interaction research to advance online justice systems by developing design principles, methods, and technologies that centre the needs and experiences of litigants.

The research tackles the challenge of creating digital justice systems that are acceptable to justice institutions and actors while remaining inclusive of stakeholders, particularly people with disabilities. The role sits in a strong law school environment with a commitment to access to justice, ethical legal thinking, and interdisciplinary collaboration.

The position is associated with Professor and Director Genevieve Grant and the Warren Centre for Civil Justice at Monash University.
