Academic interest areas reflected in the call include occupational health and safety, risk management, safety engineering, human factors, professional education, and training. The post is especially relevant to candidates with experience in mining or quarrying, and with the ability to work across corporate and government environments. International travel may be required to support MISHC course delivery.
Eligibility highlights include a postgraduate qualification or progress toward one in a relevant discipline, extensive relevant industry experience, and demonstrated ability to design and deliver training for professionals. Strong communication skills, strategic thinking, project management capability, and relationship-building with industry and government stakeholders are emphasized. Experience in academic research and a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment are listed as desirable.
