Are you passionate about using AI, Computer Vision, and Robotics to make agriculture more sustainable? DTU Electro is offering two fully funded PhD positions.
?? Your research will focus on:
• Sensor fusion and multimodal AI for robotic perception
• Self-supervised learning for agricultural pre-trained models
• 3D canopy modeling and plant growth dynamics
• Anomaly detection beyond RGB
?? These technologies will enable autonomous robots to support sustainable farming practices like intercropping—boosting biodiversity and reducing pesticide use.
?? You’ll join the Perception and Cognition for Autonomous Systems Group (PCAS) at DTU, collaborate with top researchers from Denmark and the Netherlands, and contribute to real-world field testing.
?? Ideal candidates hold a Master’s degree in Robotics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or similar, and have experience in machine learning, computer vision, or sensor technologies.

Full funding including tuition fees and living expenses is available for this position. The scholarship covers all educational costs and provides a monthly stipend.
