About this position

Extremely excited and grateful that our new project on hashtag#artificial hashtag#intelligence is funded by the Swiss National Science Foundation SNSF ?? Over the next 4 years, Dr. Daniela Mahl, Mike S. Schäfer and I will dive deep into how hashtag#AI is changing science communication from different perspectives ?? ?? I will be leading two work packages that analyze strategic hashtag#communicators' and hashtag#intermediaries' perspectives on the impact of AI, and I already look forward to speaking with institutional communicators, scientists, social media influencers, and journalists.??To truly understand and track the impact of AI over time, we will use surveys and serial qualitative interviews with think-aloud and human-AI interaction approaches, content analysis, text-as-data techniques, and social network analysis - thus combining self-reported, textual, and observational data as well as data donations. ?? If you’re interested to collaborate, please reach out! We will soon be advertising hashtag#PhD positions - feel free to contact us if you have any questions.…more "Science Communication in the Age of AI": New research project The Swiss National Science Foundation SNSF has agreed to fund a new, large-scale, 4-year project on science communication & AI within UZH Department of Communication and Media Research (IKMZ)'s scicomm team. The project focuses on current and future changes in science communication related to AI, and their assessment.
