What's required

Bachelor’s degree in physics, engineering physics, biomedical engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, materials engineering, or a related discipline is required. Applicants must have significant and recent experience in a cleanroom and micro- or nanofabrication laboratory, including developing micro-nanofabrication processes for microfluidic device design and fabrication using techniques such as photolithography, wet/dry etching, thin-film deposition, hot embossing, PDMS casting, maskless lithography, CNC machining, and injection molding. Experience with characterization instruments such as optical microscopy, scanning electron microscopy, profilometers, and goniometers is required, along with experience developing or operating microfluidic technologies and producing designs in 2D/3D software such as AutoCAD, L-Edit, Inventor, or SolidWorks. French language ability is required, and candidates must be eligible for Reliability Status; preference is given to Canadian citizens and permanent residents.
