About this position
The Theoretical High Energy Group at the Institute of Theoretical Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences in Beijing invites applications for one or more postdoctoral positions in high energy theory.
The postdoctoral researcher will join the New Physics and Effective Field Theory Group, an environment within ITP-CAS that works across quantum field theory, particle physics, cosmology, and gravity. The advertised research programme centers on scattering amplitudes, effective field theory, precision calculations, Higgs and collider physics, neutrino physics, dark matter, and broader applications of quantum field theory to particle physics and cosmology.
The position is an opportunity to contribute to a broad theoretical high-energy research setting at one of China’s major institutes for fundamental physics, with the possibility that outstanding candidates may also be considered for a Research Associate role through the CAS Special Research Assistants Program.
The appointment is initially for two years, with the possibility of extension to a third year depending on performance and funding.
