About this position

Fully funded PhD studentship alert - candidates from sport and exercise - sociology of sport, psychology of sport and cognate fields -are welcome to apply, in particular those employing qualitative and participatory approaches. Based at Northumbria University.

Project looks at Urban Social Infrastructures (USI) for health and wellbeing for young men (16-24) in UK Cities. These infrastructures include sites/spaces like gyms, sport facilities and other health infrastructures. The studentship is sponsored by Urban Futures at Northumbria, supervised by Jason Luger (Geography), Ozge Dilaver (Business) and Lisa Thomas (Psychology).
