Research Associate-II (Postdoctoral)
role on an
ANRF-funded Advanced Research Grant (ARG)
project titled
“Theranostic PDMS Microparticle for Cancer Cell Capture and Inflammation-Responsive Healing in Vascular Microenvironments.”
Research areas:
biomicrofluidics, micro/nano-scale systems, lab-on-chip technologies, soft matter, polymer materials, biomedical devices, nanotechnology, and related biomedical engineering topics. The project is especially relevant for candidates interested in PDMS microparticles, cancer cell capture, and vascular microenvironment engineering.
Eligibility:
PhD (or thesis submitted) / M.Tech with relevant research experience. The notice prefers candidates with an awarded PhD, strong publication record, prior work in micro/nano systems, bio-microfluidics, soft matter, polymer-based materials, biomedical devices, or lab-on-chip technologies, and a strong academic record. The advertisement also mentions preference for candidates with a minimum CGPA of 8.0/10 or 75% at the Master’s level and 3–5 research papers in reputed SCI/SCI-Expanded journals.
Funding:
Fellowship is ₹61,000 per month plus HRA as per Government of India norms. The appointment is temporary and co-terminus with the project, with a duration of 1 year.
