PhD opportunity in Maternal Health at the Institute of Public Health Medicine, Medical School, University of Pécs, Hungary. The project is titled “Intrahepatic cholestasis of pregnancy: risk factors, bile acid profiles and maternal and fetal outcomes.” This is a doctoral research opportunity focused on maternal health, pregnancy outcomes, public health, and biomedical research. The position is linked to the Stipendium Hungaricum doctoral scholarship for the 2027/2028 intake. The scholarship is described as fully funded and covers tuition, a monthly stipend, a contribution to accommodation, and medical insurance for the four-year doctoral programme. Eligible applicants should have a Master’s degree or equivalent (MSc, MD, PharmD) in medicine, pharmacy, public health, midwifery, biomedical sciences, or a related field with a research component such as a thesis. Research experience is expected, and publications are an advantage but not required. Strong spoken and written English is required. Applicants must also be citizens of a Stipendium Hungaricum partner country.
