Afzal Suleman

Afzal Suleman is a Canada Research Chair and Professor at the University of Victoria. His research areas include advanced aerospace engineering, focusing on topics such as skin heat exchangers for hybrid-electric aircraft, autopilot systems utilizing genetic algorithms, and experimental aeroelastic investigations. He has also contributed to the optimization of composite structures and multi-quadrotor formation flight control. Professor Suleman's work encompasses multi-scale topology optimization and the fabrication of controllable magnetorheological materials.
