Agnieszka Turska-Kawa is the Head of the Institute of Political Science at the University of Silesia in Poland. Her research focuses on the intersection of political psychology and social behavior, with recent articles analyzing topics such as the predictors of self-perceptions of aging, the dynamics of conspiracy theories on social media, and the political beliefs of older voters. Additionally, she has investigated the impact of religiosity and trust on public acceptance of pandemic restrictions in Poland, as well as issues related to political representation and electoral manipulation.
