About
Akhil Kallepalli is a Chancellor's Fellow (Lecturer/Assistant Professor) of Medical Devices and a Leverhulme Early Career Fellow at the University of Strathclyde, UK. His research areas include Fourier ptychography microscopy for digital pathology, modular light sources for microscopy, and computational imaging in electron microscopy and optical imaging. Additionally, he investigates ultrasonography-based approaches for tissue modeling and light transport in ischemic skin flaps, as well as compressed sensing techniques in high noise conditions. His recent work also includes optical investigation of three-dimensional human skin equivalents.
