Alaïs Martin-Baillon

New York University Abu Dhabi is seeking applications for a Post-doctoral Associate in the Division of Social Science, focusing on Macroeconomics and Computational Social Science. The successful candidate will have or be close to completing a PhD in Economics, with research interests in macroeconomics or computational social science. The appointment is for two years, starting September 1, 2026, pending budget approval and visa acquisition. The postdoc will split their time between independent research and collaborative projects with Professors Alaïs Martin-Baillon, Jordan Norris, and Samreen Malik, specifically on macroeconomic expectations, firm behavior, and the role of networks. Experience with surveys and computational economics is desirable. The position does not require teaching, though compensated teaching opportunities may be available.
