Alessandra Bearz is the Head of the Thoracic Oncology Unit and the head of the Phase I unit at the Centro di Riferimento Oncologico in Italy. Her research focuses on various aspects of Non-Small Cell Lung Cancer (NSCLC), including new strategies for treating common EGFR mutations, immunotherapy approaches in oncogene-addicted NSCLC, and the cardiotoxicity associated with targeted therapies. Additionally, she has contributed to the understanding of ALK inhibitors and the implications of co-occurring mutations in NSCLC treatment.
