Professor Alexandra Nunes is an Invited Professor of Microbiology at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine of the Lusophone University of Humanities and Technologies in Portugal. Her research focuses on antibiotic resistance, virulence profiles in bacteria, and the epidemiology of infectious diseases, as demonstrated by her recent articles on Escherichia coli, Chlamydia trachomatis, and Neisseria meningitidis.
