Alicia Hawkins is an Associate Professor at the University of Toronto - Mississauga, Canada. Her research encompasses various aspects of archaeology, focusing on communities and exchange relationships in historical contexts, particularly involving the Atlantic in the seventeenth century and the Late Woodland period in southern Ontario. She has contributed to the understanding of ceramic technology, fish remains identification, and the ecological impacts of deforestation on the Great Lakes nitrogen cycle.
