Ana Abad Diaz de Cerio is an Associate Professor at the University of the Basque Country, Spain. Her research primarily focuses on nanomedicine, particularly the application of magnetic nanoparticles, antibacterial performance of ferrite nanoparticles, and the biological interactions of magnetosomes in various cellular contexts. She has contributed significantly to the understanding of nutrient acquisition in Aspergillus fumigatus and has also developed multiplex PCR techniques for viral detection.
