Andrés Nortes Checa is a Profesor at Universidad de Murcia, Spain. His research focuses on mathematical competence among future educators, particularly in relation to anxiety towards mathematics and the effectiveness of assessment standards in primary education. Recent articles authored by him explore the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic on future teachers' mathematical abilities and analyze the transition from PAU to EBAU in applied mathematics for social sciences.
