Anja Thomas

Anja Thomas is an Associate Professor at Université de Lille in France. Her research areas include the impact of populism on European public policy, Brexit and its implications for parliamentary sovereignty, as well as governance and democratic legitimacy in the context of Brexit. She has contributed significantly to discussions on the role of the Bundestag and the European Parliament in the evolution of EU treaties, alongside examining the role of parliamentary EU experts in national assemblies.
