Professor Annett Dorner-Reisel is the Head of the Materials & Raman- and Tribology Laboratory at the University of Applied Sciences Schmalkalden, Germany. Her research primarily focuses on the properties of calcium phosphate-based bone substitutes, tribomechanical effects on material surfaces, and the durability of coatings in tribological applications. Recent publications include studies on the synergistic effects of polysaccharides in bone substitutes, the tribological behavior of laser-structured materials, and the impact of fullerene coatings on dental implants.
