About
António Afonso is an Associate Professor at the Universidade do Porto Instituto de Ciências Biomédicas Abel Salazar in Portugal. His research focuses on the effects of mixed diets on the reproductive success and population growth of cultured Calanoida, as well as mucosal immune responses in Senegalese sole juveniles following Tenacibaculum maritimum challenges. His recent work contributes to understanding aquatic species' health and development in the context of changing environmental conditions.
