A fully funded PhD opportunity is available through the BBSRC Yorkshire Bioscience Doctoral Training Partnership (YBDTP), jointly hosted by the University of Bradford and the University of Leeds. The project focuses on developing an Engineered Brain Tumour Implant (EBTI) for next-generation glioblastoma therapy, aiming to create a novel implantable platform for precise, localized post-surgical therapeutic delivery in one of the most aggressive brain cancers. The interdisciplinary research will provide training in biomaterials, nanotechnology, cancer biology, and advanced imaging, preparing students for a career in translational biomedical research. The supervisory team includes experts from both universities, offering a collaborative and supportive environment.
