Armin Taghipour is a Professor and the Head of the Research Group at Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts in Switzerland. His research focuses on urban design, particularly the influence of façade characteristics and building orientation on perceived noise annoyance in relation to road traffic noise. He has also explored the macro-temporal patterns of road traffic noise and their effects on cognitive performance as well as the acoustic comfort in outdoor spaces of housing complexes.
