Barbara Borzi is the Head of the Department at EUCENTRE in Italy. Her research focuses on national risk assessment, seismic vulnerability, and multi-risk evaluation in transboundary areas. She has contributed to the development of web platforms for seismic risk awareness and has conducted extensive studies on the vulnerability assessment of various structures in response to seismic events. Her recent work includes damage surveys and assessments of critical infrastructure in relation to seismic risks.
