Dr. Bartosz Pilecki is an Assistant Professor at the University of Southern Denmark. His research focuses on the roles of commensal intestinal protozoa in gut microbiota, the implications of microfibrillar-associated protein 4 in health and disease, and the mechanisms of fungal recognition by mammalian fibrinogen-related proteins. He contributes significantly to our understanding of elastic fiber homeostasis and integrin signaling, particularly in the context of cancer and teleost fish.
