Professor Benoit St-Pierre is a faculty member at Université de Tours, France. His research focuses on biochemistry and molecular biology, particularly in the synthesis and metabolic pathways of alkaloids and antioxidant compounds. Recent publications include studies on the targeting of γ-tocopherol N-methyltransferase homologs and the modulation of alkaloid synthesis through alternative splicing. He also investigates bioproduction techniques using engineered yeast to enhance anticancer precursor production.
