Bálint Koós is the Head of Department at the Centre for Economic and Regional Studies in Hungary. His research focuses on the spatial distribution of international retirement migrants, climate change impacts on agriculture, and urban shrinkage in post-2000 Hungary. Recent publications include studies on the vulnerability of horticulture and viticulture sectors to climate change and the socio-spatial aspects of the COVID-19 pandemic.
