Boğaziçi University is seeking a PhD student or doctoral researcher for a Biomedical Engineering research group in Turkey. The project focuses on artificial intelligence and machine learning methods for analyzing EEG and ECoG brain signals. Research topics include EEG/ECoG signal classification, EEG–ECoG correlation analysis, estimating ECoG activity from EEG data, deep learning, brain-computer interfaces, and AI-supported analysis of neurological diseases. The opportunity is suitable for applicants interested in neuroscience, biomedical engineering, computer science, electrical-electronics engineering, signal processing, and machine learning. Applicants should have studied Computer Engineering, Electrical-Electronics Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or a related discipline. Knowledge of Python, machine learning, and signal processing is required, along with an interest in interdisciplinary research. Candidates must also satisfy the admission requirements of Boğaziçi University’s Biomedical Engineering graduate program and provide ALES or GRE and TOEFL results. The position provides a scholarship of 32,500 TL per month through a TÜBİTAK 2232-A Research Project.
