Christopher Olsen is an Associate Professor at the Medical College of Wisconsin. His research focuses on the interaction between chronic sleep restriction, the hypothalamic-pituitary-adrenal axis, and substance use, particularly in the context of opioid and cocaine seeking behaviors. He has published recent articles exploring sex-specific effects of neuropathic pain on drug-seeking behaviors and the implications of traumatic brain injury on substance use disorders in both animal models and human health.
