About

Colter Chitwood is an Assistant Professor at Oklahoma State University, USA. His research areas include the ecological impacts of invasive species, predation effects on ungulate reproductive strategies, and animal population dynamics. Recent publications address topics such as soil quality effects on wildlife nutrition, post-release survival in restored ungulate populations, and the interplay between fire, plants, and herbivores. He actively explores conservation opportunities through understanding the "ecology of fear" in ungulates.
