Concepcion Munoz Diez is an Associate Professor at the University of Córdoba, Spain. Her research focuses on the dynamics of transposable elements during polyploidization in plants, olive variety recognition using deep neural networks, and improving the efficiency of olive breeding for resistance to Verticillium wilt. She has also explored the genetic and interannual factors affecting olive oil profiles and studied the competition among pathogenic species impacting olive cultivation.
