Full-time Teaching & Research Assistant Position in Marketing/Service Management (PhD-track)
The University of Namur is offering a full-time Teaching & Research Assistant position in Marketing/Service Management, designed as a PhD-track opportunity. The successful candidate will divide their time equally between teaching and research. Teaching responsibilities will focus on management and marketing, particularly service management, within the Bachelor’s and Master’s programmes at the UNamur School of Management. Research activities will be conducted in marketing/service management, potentially within the NADI (Namur Digital Institute) or other research centers of the Faculty of Economics, Social Sciences, and Management.

The Department of Management, where the position is based, is renowned for its research and teaching in finance, services management, marketing, and information and operations management, and collaborates with national and international partners.
Applicants must hold or expect to hold by June or September 2026 a Master’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Economics, or an equivalent field, with honours. Candidates should demonstrate a strong academic record, excellent teaching skills, and a very good command of both French and English. The position requires the development of an original research programme leading to a doctoral degree in Economics and Management, under the supervision of a faculty member. The starting date is October 1, 2026.
Funding is provided through a full-time, salaried position with standard university benefits. The position is not funded by an EU programme. The application deadline is April 30, 2026.
