Fully funded PhD opportunity at The University of Sheffield on Agentic AI , healthcare decision-making, and human-AI collaboration . The project examines the human side of AI adoption in high-stakes healthcare settings, including how clinicians experience trust , cognitive load , professional agency , emotional demands, and wellbeing when working with increasingly autonomous systems. You will be supervised by Emilia Vann Yaroson , Jeremy Dawson , and Cristian Vasquez , and will join a supportive, interdisciplinary research environment. The project also offers flexibility to shape parts of the research around your own interests. Relevant interests include AI , healthcare , psychology , organisational behaviour , business analytics , digital health , and the future of work . This is a 3.5-year fully funded PhD opportunity.
